ELATED

Mariokart DS is excellent. It is the killer app for the DS. Calvin got it to-day, as well, without my knowledge. Also awesome. Jish was commenting (i.e. lamenting) on the fact that he actually is now considering getting a DS and Mariokart.
It's awesome, and I haven't even gotten to the WiFi play yet. The single player has a very low learning curve and the controls are quite intuitive. The graphics are also excellent, and they brought back the bunnyhop, combining it with Double Dash's slide.
I am elated.
I also have a headache, but that may come from running for buses, playing video games, and generally eating only once (which was at dinner at 17:00, because I was pretty much busy straight from 9:00 through 16:30, and had business to attend to after, too. I generally rue business hours, because those are the hours that I have business to do, as does everyone else.
As for a first day of work, it involved:
1) walking a whole bunch and carrying things,
2) pushing things around, and
3) plugging and unplugging things.
In all, that's what I generally do in my own free-time, anyway, so why not do it to 1) be productive and help the library, and 2) get paid to do it. Unfortunately, they don't use Twenty-four-hour Standard time for scheduling (I actually spell it better when I pronounce it with a soft (British) C sound). C'mon, it's called "Standard time" for a reason. GOSH!
That's about it; I'm'a go play Mariokart.
Peace yo, I'm out.
