Someone did a bang-up job on the title cards.

You know I don't have a television or a Tivo, so I don't watch a lot of TV. I'm really quite glad of things like Hulu because I can watch shows that I don't get to see otherwise. It is sad that my desktop computer is a little slow running these things. It's only four years old, and I've got at least another year, probably two, with it as my main machine. I mean, seriously — I upgraded the RAM this summer, too! I'm not giving up on it soon, even if I could afford to get a new desktop.

Unfortunately, I don't think that I should apply or go to a school that gets my year wrong. Grad-u-ated class of aught-five. Haven't been a senior in four years. Yep ... definitely can't go to a school that makes such a grievous error.

This stuff is almost like poetry in its odd grammar and such:

NOTICE:

Anyway, I'm busy working on things. Drawing a comic about NAFTA for class. Busy all weekend.

The past two summers I've worked at camp, right? Well, the first week of actual camp (the third week of June), the campus is taken over by a group by the name of Idaho Drug Free Youth* — IDFY ("I Defy") for short. Basically, they take over camp and run all their own programmes, and as camp staff, we mostly work behind the scenes but not directly with the IDFYers. It's a pretty easy week on-site.

Two years ago, they had a Gilligan's Island theme for their week, and as the coup de grâce, they had Dawn Wells come as a keynote speaker. She was the woman who played Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island, and she came to speak to the Idaho youth who "DARE to be drug free," and who "just say no**."


So I find it quite ironic that, earlier to-day, she was arrested for marijuana in her auto.
