Fw: Letter to the editor: Acronyms and Clarity in Writing
Jan. 18th, 2008 | 10:38
Copypasta from a letter to the editor for The Easterner. Here's to hoping that the email posting allows me to add html. If not, I'll fix it in a couple hours' time. I do so enjoy this mobile posting stuff. Specifically, I'm writing emails and blog entries from an armchair in the lounge of the PUB at Eastern. This tech is so cool. I really want to find an awesome Bluetooth keyboard for my blackberry, and would make this little device even better for mobile writing than it already is. Couple that with the 2 Gb of flashmem I added, and I have a nice light, small, portable word processor.
Anyway, onto my ramblings:

We have more than 3/4 of the year left, and election stuff is getting annoying. Maybe I'm simply more plugged-in to the electiontide happenings this time 'round. Still, I don't remember it being so cut-throat in 2004. Then again, things went badly in '04.
Here's to hoping that things go better in '08. Then again, if they don't, the Canadian border's only a couple hours' drive from here. Who's with me?
Additionally, I heard through the grapevine, that the new MacBook Air has a built-in secret filter that blocks all reference of/to Ron Paul. That alone would be reason enough to get the MBA.
